MAN-SPIRIT INTERACTIONI hope to discuss the nature of Man-spirit interaction, in two primary ways, the regular man with an extra amount of spirit (on this page) and the Man-God kind, that is, with man trying to be god or perhaps god-like (on the Man-God page). They may to a certain extent overlap as expressions of man-spirit interaction, but the discussions of them are very different. This man-spirit page just lists some of the stated examples and some of their results to give a feel for the way things happened, whereas the Man-God page discusses the nature of the man-godism. I had hoped to get some new information on the nature of spirit-man interaction,
basically in the Judeo-Christian tradition but on this page I just list some of the explicitly stated inter- actions from the Old Testament, such as my memory recollects. In the cases of Moses and Elijah, they are assumed to have had an interaction from the fact that some or all of their "spirit" was given to others. Also since there are at least these two unstated examples, there almost certainly have been more.
The data does give a slightly better feel of the inter- action, but not too much new. In a lot of the cases, something pretty spectacular happened, including saving of Israel from oppressors. In some cases, prophesying resulted. As I stated earlier, there are very probably some other unstated examples

To get another perspective on man-spirit interaction,
in his letter to the Corinthians, Paul describes his
ideas of some of the gifts from the Holy Spirit:
a message full of wisdom
a message full of knowledge
faith
power to heal
power to work miracles
gift of speaking God's message
the ability to tell the difference between gifts that
come from the Spirit and those that do not.
As a matter of personal opinion, of course, I believe
that all regular living things have a spirit component
but until you experience the lack of the presence, it
is like describing the presence of atmosphere. I
believe that in these cases above we are talking about
what seems to be an extra amount.
